PETER M. BARTFELD graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors from Cornell University in 1972, with a double degree in Government and Economics. Mr. Bartfeld received his Juris Doctor degree from New York University Law School in 1975. Mr. Bartfeld was an editor of the New York University Journal of International Law, and he assisted in the publication of a legal treatise on the subject of international business transactions. Mr. Bartfeld's practice areas include corporate and commercial matters, real estate, real property tax liens, and commercial and real estate litigation. Mr. Bartfeld practiced law for twenty years at the Dornbush Mensch & Mandelstam law firm, where he became a partner in 1983 and the assistant managing partner in 1989. He was also chairman of the real estate department at the Dornbush firm. In 1995, Mr. Bartfeld joined the law firm of Bryan Levitin & Bab, and upon the dissolution of that firm in 2000, he joined the Salon Marrow law firm. Mr. Bartfeld established his own law office on January 1, 2019, following the closing of the Salon Marrow firm. Mr. Bartfeld has been active in a number of volunteer projects over the years. He served on school district and community committees, and he was a long-time director and president of his community youth soccer club. Mr. Bartfeld also served as the national Youth Sports Co-Chairman of the United States Maccabi Organization.
